We provide life skills training for expecting teens and teenage moms who are in need of guidance, support, resources, and education.
MENTORSHIP
Mentorship is essential to the growth and development of young, single mothers. Eaglets Outreach Academy, Inc. offers group and individual mentorship. Our mentorship program assists individuals grow personally and professionally. The guidance, influence, and direction are given by highly qualified individuals who have a proven track record of success in their personal and professional lives. Here at EOA, mentorship is one of the most important aspects of how we set the standards for accountability, responsibility, and ownership for our young mothers.
FINANCIAL LITERACY
Financial Literacy is critical for one to gain the basic principles and understanding of money, credit, and financial stability. EOA has partnered with organizations that offer tools and resources for money management, building credit, budgeting, and more. EOA also provides each student with bestselling books and literature relevant to self-help guidance surrounding finances.
MEDICAL SERVICES REFERRALS
Eaglets Outreach Academy provides young mothers and their babies medical services referrals. We have access to a list of pediatricians and specialty doctors that we can refer our young mothers to based on their location and preferences. This assistance is provided after the initial intake process into the program.
LIFE SKILLS & EMOTIONAL SUPPORT
Eaglets Outreach Academy, Inc. believes that it takes a village to strive and raise children. EOA encourages family and community support. Most teen mothers are not in touch with the child’s father leaving them to raise their children by themselves. However, some fathers will participate and get involved with their children. For these reasons, we have created a support component within the program so that the father, grandparents, friends, and family can get involved and support the young mothers and fathers in these special cases.
EDUCATION & CAREER GUIDANCE
Eaglets Outreach Academy, Inc. was founded on the belief that one can only thrive by way of gaining knowledge and education. Education can help build character, learn how to live an independent lifestyle, and become a productive citizen. Education is the gateway to fulfilling our dreams and purpose. Career and personality assessments are given to young mothers as a tool to help guide them on their path to success.
